I Refuse

I refuse to believe that this existence is as empty as you are trying to get me to buy.

And I don’t have enough money to buy your empty existence anyways.
So, maybe being poor and spending a lot of time alone in rejected solitude made me a little creative. And since that’s all I got, I’ll work with what I got and create something I love that money can’t buy.

Even if all I’ve got’s this thread…this thread I’m barely hanging by…I’ll still let go and love because I realized my heart exists in stitches…and in the past – oh, the past… I would have clung to this thread so that I could sew myself back up when you cut me deep…and boy …have you cut me deep….the more you cut, the more I stitched…frantic to keep myself together. Lord, you cut so much and I stitched so much ..it’s why I’m all I’m left with is just this one thread…but, you know – it was when I let it go of that thread and stopped stitching that I stopped leaking into the lives of others and began to flow forth like a raging river. I saw that thread I let go of blowing in the winds of change, weaving me new robes of gold that opened doors to an existence you told me didn’t exist and tried to sweep under the carpet behind you while you tried to sell me your shitty little piece of nothing…..

So, I’m sorry, but i refuse to believe that this existence is as empty as you are trying to get me to buy….and all the money in the world couldn’t buy your empty existence anyways.
